This is a small tor and one of three on my list that is not inside the Dartmoor National Park boundary. It sits just to the south of the southern edge of Dartmoor near to the village of Lee Moor. Its right in the middle of all that is bad around Dartmoor with the huge scars of the China Clay works and the new Tungsten mine surrounding this tor. These dominate the view in all directions. The walk here isn’t hard at all, being 20 metres from the road, with parking spots in Lee Moor village or 100 metres down the road from the tor. No military firing areas near here.
