This is the largest of the tor outcrops on top of the Tavy Cleave ridge. As you walk through the cleave below and look up at the rocky outcrops, Sharp Tor will be the first that you pass if you have walked from Lane End. Sitting on the edge of the Cleave gives great plunging views down into the valley as well as to Ger Tor. Hare Tor can also be seen to the north and east. This tor sits within the Willsworthy firing range.
