A great name for a decent tor. There is a bit of rock here, the main clump is right beside the path as it enters Great Rock Wood at its south eastern side. The rocks are either side of the path and you can now see more of it as the non native trees to the right of the path have been cleared. Be mindful, however in this woodland, there are plenty of mining shafts in this area and it is advised to stick to the path through the woods. With the clearance of trees comes a bit of a view in return to the south along the valley and out towards Chudleigh. There are no military firing areas near this tor.
