This squat little cross also goes by the name of Hospit Cross for those from Devon (or Horsepit Cross for everyone else) and sits by the crossroads of Pound Street as it heads from North Bovey to Moretonhampstead. The cross itself now has 4 letters carved into it marking the 4 directions of travel. M for Moretonhampstead, O for Okehampton, N for Newton Abbot and B for North Bovey.
