This standing stone sits on the Butterdon Hill at the north eastern corner of Dartmoor, rather than the one near Western Beacon at the south end. It is classed as a menhir and is around 2metres tall, if you spproach from the northern side the stone has a curved appearance which is completely different from the other views. Some nice views from this standing stone as well, especially south towards Haytor.
