It’s marked on an OS map but its not the mecca bingo capital town in the northwest of England. Come here in the summer and you’ll think I’ve gone mad. This is more of an animal watering hole than it is a pond, pool or lake. It sits between Butterdon Hill and Western Beacon, in a depression, hence the collection of water, which tends to be pretty muddy and boggy. Skirt around and move on!!
