This tor sits not too far away from the Two Moors Way path, as it leaves the Teign Gorge, heading west towards Chagford. If you are heading towards Dogmarsh Bridge from Castle Drogo then look to your right. On a slight lump in the ground is a tor, of two huge boulders, in view. This is Dogmarsh South Tor, with the north tor further up the hill in private ground. The pasture around the tor is nice, but there are very little in the way of views, although with the Two Moors Way path it is easy to get to this one, however the fence will prevent you getting to the rocks, but to within 10 metres of it. There are no military areas near here.
