Remembrance Sunday

Lest we forget. Today is Remembrance Sunday and I went with my youngest to the Plympton cadets walk to the memorial by Plympton castle and Plympton St Maurice church. The service was held by the memorial in bright autumnal sunshine with around 200 others. Very proud dad.

Walking through St Maurice they turn here to head up past the church, my youngest is front right
Large gathering for the service at the memorial, the castle is up to our left here. At the end of the service they read out all those lost in the World Wars from Plympton St Maurice before playing the Last Post
