There isn’t really too much to Gren Tor, a small outcrop sitting just above the Rattlebrook railway not too far from Lydda Bridge and Hunt Tor. Again like other tors on the west side you get great views across to Cornwall and also, as a bonus, down the River Lyd valley as it winds its way past Great Nodden. The easiest approach to this tor is to follow the Rattlebrook railway path which passes within 20 metres of the tor. Gren Tor does not sit within any of the military firing ranges.
