Now this outcrop is a bit of a jumble of rocks which accumulate to a fairly decent sized tor. It sits right beside the road from Uppacott Farm to Howton Farm, not too far away from Moretonhampstead. On an OS map you will see the dotted path line leading north from the lane, at the junction of the path and the lane is this tor, just behind Linscott Cross. No views from here as lots of it is in the trees and there are hedges and buildings around it as well. Still its a nice easy bag being so close to the road, before climbing the path up to Ash Tor. No firing ranges near here.
