A tor that sits in an open farmers field on a public footpath running through that field. The footpath joins the hamlets of Leighon and Southcott, and if walking from Leighon you will head over a stile into woodland before crossing a stream and finding a gate which brings you to the field. The main part of the tor is against a wall and under the trees, but there are other small outcrops in the open field itself. There is also a smaller rock lower down just inside the woodland, a bit further behind that a larger rock beside the stream. Further up the hill still in the field is another outcrop, I assume also of this tor. A decent amount of rock here for very little effort, however you will probably want to continue onwards to link this outcrop with a walk to or from Manaton or Hound Tor. There are no firing ranges near here.

Just in the woods, lies this outcrop. Further to the left and into the woods, just up from the bridge over the stream is a larger boulder
