Hill Bridge

There are a few bridges across the River Tavy around this area and Hill Bridge is one of them, and one of the best. This is a classic stone bridge, carrying a road across the river. The road in question is a narrow lane linking Willsworthy and Cudlipptown. There’s a fair bit going on at this bridge, with a pathway, which descends by a metal ladder, a weir, a salmon/trout pass for the fish and a metal walkway. In the sunshine, sit on the grassy field on the southern side and enjoy the water sounds and bird song. A lovely place.
