Sittaford Tor sits on the eastern side of Dartmoor near to Fernworthy Forest. It has a fairly flat summit area, without too much exposed rock, however the views from the top are extensive especially northwards and along the valley to the south towards Postbridge. The Grey Wethers stone circles lies just to the east of the summit, 2 circles of 25 stones each. Sittaford Tor does not sit within a firing range however the Okehampton range is a kilometre to the west. There is a fairly straight forward path on the maps heading out from Postbridge, over Hartland Tor to Grey Wethers and then up to this place and is a good way to get here.
