This church seems to start around the 1300’s and certainly the chancel was built around that time, and the board inside lists the vicars which go back to that date. This church, St Andrews, sits in the village of Whitchurch and the outskirts of Tavistock. More work was done on the church in the 15th and 19th century but its origins are earlier than that for sure.
