This is a leaning cross which sits on Week Down, between Chagford and Middlecott. This cross was moved in 1867 because its original spot by the road was decaying and the cross was leaning in that spot. The best part is whoever moved it, saw no need to correct the lean and left it that way in its new position. It resembles another leaning cross on the opposite side of the moor in Windy Post. This cross, like others, such as Shorter Cross, is a waymarker for travellers between Moretonhampstead and Chagford.
