Berra Tor is a pretty small tor in the south western corner of Dartmoor, not too far from Doublewaters and between that and Buckland Monachorum. On the OS maps there is a nearby settlement, however that is in the trees behind a hedge. The tor itself is tricky to find, it is under trees and seeing as there are lots of them around its tricky to point out one to head for. Basically as you head south on the main path (black dashed line on the OS maps), head in left before the ground drops away, its just above the B in Berra Tor on the OS map, In summer you will be following a grassy path between bracken. You will find a small rocky outcrop. Views are difficult due to trees but to the north east they will be decent down to the River Walkham valley. There are no firing areas near this tor.
