The Broada Stones are a small gathering of rocks at the northern entrance to Sandy Hole Pass beside the East Dart river. These rocks seem to sit both sides of a small stream which runs into the river. The views across Broad Marsh are good and also up to Winney’s Down, and there is Cut Hill to the north west from this spot also. The easiest way here is to follow the path to the East Dart Waterfall, carrying on through Sandy Hole to the Broada Stones. These rocks don’t sit in a military firing area although the Merrivale zone is a short distance to the west, so beware if heading that way.
