This tor packs a decent view for a smaller tor and is very easy to get to. The views south towards Hayne Down, Hound Tor and Haytor are the best direction. However north isn’t bad either with Easdon Tor and a distant Cosdon Beacon also in view. The green fields and farms around Manaton can also be seen. The easiest route here is from Jay’s Grave, following the obvious path up to the first outcrop and then on to the higher summit top a few hundred metres on. There are no military firing areas near here.
