Talk about Gidleigh and it won’t be the tor that come first to mind. For a lot of people it will be nearby Gidleigh Park or the hamlet with the church. The tor itself sits just off a good path, on land with forestry around it, so the photos below may differ as trees are being cut and growing around this area. The views across to Kestor are good from here however with this tor being in trees they block views in other directions. There are no military areas near here.
