Sitting on Hartor Hill this oddly named tor has impressive views that are worth seeing. Sitting above the Plym valley you get fabulous views along the Plym and past Gutter Tor and Legis Tor and onwards towards Plymouth Sound. On the lower slopes of this tor sits Drizzlecombe and a series of hut circles, menhirs, stone rows and cairns. Higher Hartor Tor sits near the popular Nun’s Cross path so whether approaching from Nun’s Cross or the scout hut near Gutter Tor it is an easy walk to see the views. This tor does not sit in a military firing range.
