Standing above Hollow Tor you wouldn’t really know that there were any rocks around. Hollow Tor is covered with heather and gorse, hiding it from above. Walk around the side and you see why this is a separate tor as the granite is stacked 5 or 6 metres high. The views down to Widecombe are excellent as are those beyond to Hameldown. Like nearby Top Tor there is plenty of parking available on the B3387 in order to get to this tor. There are no firing ranges near this tor.

Hollow Tor (Blackslade Down), this one is always a bit tricky to see from above as it looks like a flat grassy mound but come around the side a bit and you can see the outcrop a bit easier
