Hollow Tor sits on the western side of North Hessary Tor with fabulous views across to Great Mis Tor and the Staple Tors. The mast on top of North Hessary is in view behind you and Plymouth Sound can be seen easily on a clear day. It is a very easy walk to this tor, from the roadside parking on the B3357 (by the old pumphouse), Hollow Tor can been seen and reached within 10 minutes. A further 15 minutes will have you at the top of North Hessary Tor. There are no military areas near this tor, although you may see the red flags flying on Great Mis Tor across the road.
