Ivy Tor sits within Belstone Cleave to the east of the village of Belstone. Standing on the village green, especially in winter, you can see Ivy Tor sticking up out of the trees on the right hand side of the valley. Its a simple tor to walk to from Belstone, following the path on that side of the river. Its a bit trickier if you are descending from Cosdon as you will need to thrash through trees, bracken and gorse and traverse boggy ground to get there. The easiest way is from Belstone! The views along the cleave are good, but with the high ground of Cosdon rising up behind it limits any real distance views. No military firing ranges near this tor.
