Deep in Castor Woods to the south east of the Kelly Mine path and the mine of the same name sits a number of tors. Within this woodland its a bit of a maze, its is steeply sloping in places and there are very few paths, however a bit of searching for those that like tors will give you some very good outcrops. This one unfortunately is the least impressive of the ones in this woods, it sits either side of a stream, with boulders rising up the slopes. To get here you are best leaving the Kelly Mine path by the gate half way down and heading off into the woods on a bearing for this outcrop. Being deep in woodland there is no view from here, nor is there any military firing zones anywhere near here.
