Little Tor

Little Tor sits a good drive and a pitching wedge from West Mill Tor on the northern edge of Dartmoor. It’s a fairly obvious outcrop in an area that shows the Dartmoor connection to the military. There are plenty of good stony roads to this tor with a few firing areas in the vicinity, making it an easy place to get to. The views to the south have to be seen to be believed, as they are stunning, high ground however to the west and north blocks the views in those directions. Its a fine little tor which will get visited on the way to higher places, such as Yes Tor. On this tor you are inside the Okehampton firing range so obey any red flags and warnings.
