Down by the banks of the River Dart, in the gorge as the river leaves Dartmeet and wriggles its way past Mel Tor and Buckland Beacon can be found a tor in perfect seclusion. It takes a bit of a walk to get here and the best route is from Dartmeet or down from Sharp Tor above. There is a nice clearing around the tor making a perfect spot for a brew. The outcrop itself is fairly big and rises upwards making a fair climb to reach the top if you are coming from the river side. There are no military ranges near here.
