This is a rocky cliff face and tor, within the National Trust owned Lydford Gorge. Depending when you come to visit this one it will either be heavily covered in foliage and trees, or more easily seen through branches. Either way you will know you are at this tor if you are standing beside the Tunnel Falls at the bottom of the gorge. In all honesty reaching the top of this tor is almost impossible, it would be a very, very steep climb up through rocks/cliff and greenery. Stand at the bottom and take a tick on your list and move on along the bottom path towards the Devil’s Cauldron. This tor will be reached by walking the lower path around Lydford Gorge and there are no military firing ranges here as this is National Trust land and you will need to either be a member or pay the entrance to reach this one.
