This is both a ford and a bridge in the same location, located between Scarey Tor and Cleave Tor on the East Okement River. If approaching from the A30 side, you have a gorgeous walk through woodland to get here, another good approach is coming down from Cleave Tor. Its a very tranquil spot. The bridge is a simple wooden structure with a gate on one side and probably means the ford is rarely used now.
