Dunsford Mill Steps

This is a set of stepping stones and a ford which links the village of Dunsford and Bridford Wood beside the old Dunsford Mill. If you walk from Dunsford across the fields and cross the B3212, head between the house towards the river and the stepping stones will be there in front of you, or at least they will be after a dry spell. This is the River Teign and in winter it is likely to be covering these stones. Still its a nice spot and with paths to the south of the river you can have a nice walk out to Steps Bridge through the woods if you are able to get across.

The stones can be seen, they are just underwater on this winter day
The bumps are the stones which would normally take you across to the steps on the other side, the river ford is to the left here
