Leathertor Farm

As it’s name suggests, Leathertor Farm sits below Leather Tor in the woods above Burrator Reservoir. A structure was believed to have been built here back as far as 1310, however the current structure was built in 1870. It didn’t last long, as the construction of Burrator Reservoir, meant that all farms within the catchment area were served notice, after it was believed they were polluting the water supply.
