Miners Dry

This building was built prior to 1884 and was used by the miners at the Wheal Friendship Mine to change their wet clothes after a days work. Its a Grade 2 listed structure, or what is left of it, it had a roof in the 1960s but is slowly falling into decay, although the chimney still stands. The building sits by the path out of the back of Mary Tavy church as it crosses fields towards Horndon.
