National Park Visitor Centre Princetown

Once a hotel, with such visitors as Arthur Conan Doyle, he of Sherlock Holmes, Hounds of the Baskervilles and Grimpen Mire (Foxtor Mire) fame. This centre sits on the junction of the B3357 and B3212 in Princetown and opened in 1993 with plenty of information about Dartmoor, its wildlife, walks, tracks and places of interest and to stay.
