This is an old 15th century inn on the western side of Dartmoor in the village of the same name. Its a lovely spot, especially in summer with the sun shining. In winter the fire will be going and the local beer and cider are excellent. The old church up the hill is worth a visit and walks from this area are superb, especially up towards White Tor or Cox Tor. There is a beer garden outside for those sunny days and a warm fire for when it isn’t
