This is a small waterfall, sitting below Venford Reservoir on its outflow. The Venford Brook leaves the dam above on its way to the River Dart, a short distance further down. On its way it passes over a small rocky ledge dropping down a few metres to a small pool below. It the winter and after heavy rain there may be one wider cascade, in summer it is likely to be two small drops either side of a central rock. To get here can involve a steep walk down into the valley first.
