These are a few spots around the village of Meavy to park and wander the lanes of this area, or branch out towards Burrator reservoir, knowing there is a good pub at the end of the walk. The first spot is beside Higher Meavy Bridge and the ford over that river, you can get 3 or 4 well parked cars in here, however in hot weather you may find it full of people paddling in the ford. The other two spots are in the village itself, one near the school and the other around the square/parish hall in the centre of the village. Both places need care when parking not to block driveways, also be aware of school pickup times and church services as it can get busy. Also the weekend in June/July of the Meavy fair will be exceptionally busy.
