St Raphael’s Chapel

This chapel sits in the hamlet of Huccaby near to Hexworthy and Dartmeet in the centre of Dartmoor. This chapel was built in the 1860’s as a place of worship and a schoolroom, and is the only chapel dedicated to St Raphael in this country. With Raphael being the patron saint of travellers, it seems fitting that the chapel sits on Dartmoor.
