This tor sits on the southern edge of Shaptor Woods, down the hill a bit from Pixey Copse Tor. In fact the best idea is to leave the path from that tor and taking a bearing, crossing the stream to get here. There’s not too much when you do get here, some large outcrops with one by an old wall. Just save a bit of energy to get back up to the main path. There is still a fair bit of woodland around this spot so no views from the tor. No military ranges around this area.
