This is literally exactly what it says, a broad rock, although there are far broader on Dartmoor!! This rock sits within some very boggy ground being in between Plym Head, Erme Head and Langcombe Head, still however there is a good path that will take you here in the Abbot’s Way path. Come in from the Plym Ford direction and you should have little problems in getting here reasonably dry. The views are good to the south along the River Erme as it starts out, you can also see Redlake over to the east. There are no military firing ranges near here.
