A nice little tor, with plenty of granite rock stacks and easy to get to. Parking at the end of Burrator reservoir by Norsworthy Bridge and an easy path takes you easterly towards Cuckoo Rock, alternatively head towards Down Tor first and then across Hingston Hill to Combshead Tor. The views back towards Burrator are excellent with Sheepstor one side and Peek Hill the other. Just below this tor is Cuckoo Rock, a large rock that has been a pilgrimage site for years. There are no military firing areas near this tor.
