Cramber Tor

Cramber Tor sits on the western edge of a very large, quite boggy upturned bowl of a hill, there is a trig point at one side and Cramber Tor at the other. Views both down to Burrator and westerly towards Cornwall are fantastic. This tor is also a fine way to see all that is good about the Devonport Leat as it curves its way around the southerly side of the tor before tumbling down Raddick Hill and across the aqueduct. The easiest way to get to this tor is to start at Norsworthy Bridge, heading along the forest track towards Crazywell Pool and up to Cramber Tor. There are no military firing ranges near this tor.
