Doccombe Rock

This outcrop sits high above the hamlet of the same name and above the B3212. There isn’t too much rock here but the one that there is, is pretty unique and shapely. The views are pretty good as well, with Blackingstone Rock in view across the valley and some of Dartmoor’s higher spots to the west, including Haytor, Hound Tor and Hameldown. This tor sits aside a wall and with plenty of paths above this spot is it fairly simple to get to, although in summer the bracken will be high. There are no military ranges near here.
