This tor sits below the more popular Sharpitor on its eastern side, towards Lustleigh. The tor itself consists of a couple of very large rocks, one which forms a very obvious cave. As you walk the path up towards Shapitor you will pass right beside this tor and the gaping hole of the cave will be clear to you. As a result of being so close to the road, this tor tends to be the first or last of most of my walks up here. There are no views with it being deep in the trees however the outcrop itself is enough to keep a tor bagger happy. There are no firing ranges near here.
