Another tor name that you haven’t a clue where it comes from! Higher Dunna Goat runs against the grain with the higher and lower named tors in that it is less impressive than its lower neighbour. This is in the main down to the fact that Lower Dunna Goat has a better view to Bleak House and the Rattlebrook and a better outcrop. There are decent views from both into the centre of Dartmoor, with Fur Tor, Cut Hill and Kitty Tor all in view. Higher Dunna Goat sits near to the Willsworthy and Okehampton firing ranges, so be wary which direction you approach and leave this tor.
