Higher White Tor

Higher White Tor is one of the higher tors around the Two Bridges area of Dartmoor. The views from here in all directions are excellent and a walk from Two Bridges over Crocken, Littaford and Longaford Tors to Higher White Tor and back via Wistman’s Wood is one of the favourites of this author. Higher White Tor is also a good place to get to in order to reach some of the more remote hills and tors on Dartmoor such as Rough Tor. Higher White Tor is not within a military firing range although a mile to the west is the boundary of the Merrivale range.
