Hunters Tor sits on the end of a short ridge that starts near Lustleigh village. This tor sits high above the River Bovey in the valley below and commands great views north towards Cosdon Beacon and north Devon. Like the other tors along this ridge the views to Hayne Down, Haytor and Black Hill are very good as well. The Bowermans Nose can be made out clearly from here also. There are no military firing areas around this tor.
