Leighon Tor

This is another tor that can easily mistaken for another tor or rock in this area. Hole Rock is the usual suspect for confusion, lying as it does some 100 metres away. Leighon Tor is marked on the map below with the red arrow, Hole Rock is the black one. This is a fairly decent outcrop of granite set nicely on a steepish slope to provide a drop, and a view along the valley. The easiest way to find this tor is to either first head to Smallacombe Rocks and head north, contouring round to the large ish set of tor rocks on the side of Black Hill. Or walk down from Black Hill itself. There are no firing areas near this tor
