Lynch Tor

Lynch Tor (and the Limsboro cairn, Bronze age) is a quiet tor, the River Walkham, Cocks Hill and Standon Hill kind of surround Lynch Tor making it awkward to get to. However if you make the effort, the Lych Way coming from Peter Tavy is a good way in, then you will be provided with a fantastic view towards Cornwall and north to Great Links Tor and High Willhays. Lynch Tor sits in the middle of the firing ranges, with Okehampton to the north, Willsworthy the north and west and Lynch Tor being at the north end of the Merrivale range. Regardless of your approach you will pass through a firing range so heed the warnings.
