Middle Staple Tor, almost as its name suggests, is not as grand as Great Staple Tor, its summit rocks are not as spectacular. However, like nearby Cox Tor, the views to Plymouth Sound are wonderful. This is also an easy tor to get to, just a 15 minute climb from the car park at Pork Hill, where you will find some decently stacked granite. This tor does not sit within any military firing range.
