Old House Rocks

Another group of rocks sitting on the eastern side of Hameldown, and like Wooder Goyle Rocks further south, you have fine views across to Chinkwell and Honeybag Tors, as well as along the valley back to Widecombe. The route here can be tricky, you could drop down from the ridge path across Hameldown. However there are some narrow paths across this side of the hill which makes linking this outcrop to Wooder Goyle possible, although I would go from north to south if doing this, and drop down to Wooder Goyle, rather than climbing up to Old House Rocks. There are no military firing ranges near these rocks.
