Owlacombe Burrow Rock

This outcrop sits to the east of Haytor on a part of the OS map marked by a memorial. There is a boundary stone sitting above the rock, which is marked by the Duke of Somerset. The outcrop appears to be emerging from the hillside and to be honest there isn’t really much to see of the rock here. However the views to the south and east are fantastic, especially towards Teignmouth. The easiest route here is along the well marked paths from the Haytor direction. No firing ranges near here.
